LAYERED PEACH DESSERT

1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
2-3 cups sweetened peaches, drained
1 3/4 cup confectioners sugar
1 (12 oz) container whipped topping
1/2 tsp almond extract

Preheat oven to 350. Crust: Combine first 3 ingredients and add the butter. Mix well and press mixture in the bottom of a 13x9 inch baking pan. Bake 18-20 minutes. Cool completely.

Filling: Beat cream cheese and sugar until light and fluffy. Fold in whipped topping and extract. Drain peaches and add to mixture and spoon over cooled crust. Chill for several hours before serving.
