GRANDMAS SLOPPY JOES

1 lb ground beef
1 medium chopped onion
1 medium chopped red bell pepper
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp vinegar
1 cup ketchup
2 tbsp prepared mustard
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
Hamburger buns

In a large skillet over medium heat, combine the ground beef, onion and red pepper. Cook until beef is browned, and drain off excess grease. Stir in vinegar, ketchup, brown sugar and mustard, and season with salt and pepper. Simmer for 30 minutes on low. Serve on hamburger buns.
