CIDER PORK CHOPS

1/3 cup flour
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
4 (1 inch) thick bone-in pork chops
3 tbsp butter, divided
4 granny smith apples, thinly sliced
1 cup packed brown sugar and apple cider

Combine flour with salt and pepper and coat chops with mixture. Melt 2 tbsp butter in a skillet and brown chops on each side for 5 minutes or until browned. Grease a 13x9 inch baking pan with remaining butter. Place apple slices on bottom of dish; and sprinkle with brown sugar. Arrange chops over brown sugar and drizzle with apple cider.. Bake at 350 for 1 hour or until pork chops are done. Serves 4
