CHICKEN AND HASHBROWN BAKE

1 2lb pkg. frozen hash browns
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
4 cups cooked diced chicken
1/2 cup sliced sauteed mushrooms
1 cup sour cream
2 cups chicken broth
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 small finely chopped onion
1 clove minced garlic
Dash of paprika
1/4 cup sliced almonds

Thaw hash browns and layer in ungreased 13x9 inch baking dish. Sprinkle with salt & pepper. Arrange chicken & mushrooms on hash browns. Combine soup, broth, sour cream, onion and garlic; pour over all. Sprinkle with paprika and almonds. Bake uncovered at 350 until heated through, about 45 minutes.
