CHEESY BEEFY NOODLE CASSEROLE

1 lb ground beef
2 cans condensed tomato soup
4 oz cream cheese
1/3 cup sour cream
2/3 cup cream-style cottage cheese
1 cup (4 oz) shredded mozzarella cheese
1/3 cup chopped onion
2 tbsp chopped green pepper
1 tsp basil
1/2 tsp garlic powder
8 oz egg noodles (wide) cooked and drained

In a medium pan, brown ground beef; drain. Add tomato soup and simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat.

In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese and sour cream and beat until smooth and creamy.
Gradually add remaining ingredients except noodles. Blend well.

In a greased 12 x 8 inch baking dish, layer 1/2 of noodles, 1/2 of meat mixture and 1/2 of cheese mixture. Repeat layers. Bake uncovered at 375 for 35 to 40 minutes or until heated through. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
