CHEEZY GARLIC BREAD

1 (1 lb) loaf Italian bread
4 cups shredded cheddar cheese
11/2 cup mayonnaise
1 cup thinly sliced green onions with tops
3 cloves garlic, crushed
Salt and pepper, to taste
Paprika, optional
1/2 cup minced fresh parsley

Preheat broiler. Cut the bread in half. In a small bowl, mix first 47 ingredients together and spread over the bread halves.

Sprinkle with salt, pepper and paprika. Wrap each half in foil. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours or freeze. Unwrap and place on a baking sheet. Bake at 400 for 8-10 minutes (20-25 minutes if frozen) or until puffed but not brown. Cut into slices.
