CHOCOLATE CHIP FUDGE BROWNIES

3/4 cup unsalted butter
4 oz unsweetened chocolate, chopped
4 eggs
1 3/4 cups sugar
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
3/4 cup flour
1 cup chocolate chips
Confectioners sugar

Preheat oven to 350. Butter 13x9 inch baking pan. Stir butter and unsweetened chocolate in heavy medium pan over medium low heat until melted and smooth. Remove from heat. Whisk eggs and 1 3/4 cup sugar in large bowl until pale yellow and light, about 3 minutes. Gradually whisk in warm chocolate mixture. Whisk in vanilla, then flour. Mix in chocolate chips. Pour into prepared pan. Bake until tester comes out with moist crumbs attached, about 25 minutes. Cool completely in pan on rack. Cut into squares. Sift confectioners’ sugar over.
