ALMOND POPCORN CHEWS

8 cups prepared popcorn
2 cups pretzel sticks, coarsely broken
2/3 cup slivered almonds, toasted
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1/3 cup sugar
1 (4 serving size) pkg butterscotch or chocolate pudding

Combine first 3 ingredients in a large bowl; set aside. Blend next 3 ingredients in a microwavable bowl and microwave on high for 1 1/2 - 2 minutes or until mixture boils; stir. Microwave 30 seconds more. Pour mixture over popcorn mixture and toss to coat well. Spread mixture on greased baking sheet; cool completely. Break into pieces and store in airtight container.
