CHUNKY STEAK CHILI

1/2 lb boneless top round steak
1 (15 1/2 oz) can kidney beans, drained and rinsed under cold water
1 cup chopped onion (2 medium)
2 clove garlic, minced
2 (14 oz) cans tomatoes, cut up
1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
2 stalks celery, bias-sliced 1/2” thick
2 tbsp canned chopped green chilies
1 tbsp chili powder
1 tsp brown sugar, dried oregano, crushed and ground cumin
Sour Cream

Partially freeze beef and trim off any fat. Thinly sliced across grain into bite-size pieces. Set aside. In a large saucepan, heat a little oil and add beef, onions and garlic. Cook and stir over medium-high heat until meat is browned. Stir in remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, covered, for about 30-40 minutes or until tender. Serve with sour cream. Serves 4
