FOUR CHEESE LASAGNA

12 oz lasagna noodles
1 lb ground beef
2/3 cup chopped onion and celery
2 clove garlic, minced
4 tsp dried basil, crushed
1/2 tsp salt and dried oregano, crushed
1/4 tsp pepper
2 (3 oz) pkg cream cheese, cubed
2/3 cup light cream or milk
1 cup dry white wine
1 shredded Cheddar, or Gouda cheese
2 cup cream-style cottage cheese
2 egg, slightly beaten
12 oz sliced Mozzarella cheese
In a large saucepan cook lasagna noodles according to pkg directions; drain. Set aside. In a large skillet cook beef, onion, celery and garlic until meat is brown and vegetables are tender. Drain off fat. Stir in basil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Add the cream cheese and light cream or milk. Cook and stir over low heat until cheese is melted, Stir in wine. Gradually add the Cheddar or Gouda cheese. Cook and stir until cheese is nearly melted; remove from heat. In a small bowl stir together the cottage cheese and egg.
In a greased 10x6x2 inch baking dish layer half of the noodles, half of the meat sauce, half of the cottage cheese mixture, and half of the Mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers. Bake, uncovered, at 375 for 30 to 35 minutes or until heated through. Let stand 10 minutes before serving. Serves 12
