1 1/4 cups flour
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp baking powder and cinnamon
1/2 cup bitter
1 cup pecans, finely chopped
1 oz semi-sweet chocolate
3 Eggs, beaten
1 1/4 cups packed brown sugar
2 tbsp water
1 tsp vanilla
In a mixing bowl, stir together flour, sugar, baking powder and cinnamon. Cut in 1/2 tsp cup margarine until mixture is crumbly; stir in pecans. Press into bottom of un-greased 13x9 inch pan. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, combine 1/4 cup butter and chocolate; heat; stir over low heat until melted. In a small mixing bowl, combine eggs, brown sugar, water and vanilla. Stir mixture until well blended; pour over crust. Return to oven and bake for 20 minutes longer or until set.
