CHOCOLATE CHIP CHEESECAKE BARS

1 chocolate cake mix
3 eggs, divided
1/4 cup butter, softened
2 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
2/3 cup sugar
1 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 375. Line a 13x9 inch baking pan with foil and spray with cooking spray. In a mixing bowl, combine cake, 1 egg and butter; beat well. Press into bottom of cake pan. (To prevent messy fingers, place a sheet of plastic wrap over batter and press evenly into the pan.) Bake 10 minutes; remove from oven, reduce heat to 350.

Combine cream cheese, sugar and remaining eggs in a mixing bowl. Beat until smooth. Stir in chocolate morsels. Pour mixture over baked crust; bake 20 minutes or until set. Remove bars from pan by lifting foil; cut into small bars. Refrigerate until serving.
