BABY RUTH CRATER BARS

2 1/4 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup packed brown sugar and granulated sugar
1/2 cup butter, softened and creamy or crunchy peanut butter
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
6 (2.1 oz) Baby Ruth candy bars, coarsely chopped
Preheat oven to 375. Grease a jelly-roll pan. Combine dry ingredients in a small bowl. Beat sugars, butter and peanut butter until creamy. Beat eggs and vanilla extract. Gradually add flour mixture. Spread dough evenly into prepared pan. Sprinkle candy on crust; press in lightly. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely in pan on a wire rack. Cut into bars.
