DRIED BEEF DIP

2 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup whipping cream
1 cup sour cream
2 (2 1/2 oz) pkgs dried beef, rinsed, finely chopped
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped green and red bell pepper
1 garlic glove, minced
1 cup chopped pecans
2 tbsp butter

Combine cream cheese and whipping cream, mixing until well blended. Blend in sour cream; stir in beef, onion, peppers and garlic. Pour into shallow 1 quart baking dish. Saute nuts in butter; sprinkle over cheese mixture. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes. Serve with crackers or party rye.
