CHEESE STUFFED MEATBALLS AND EASY SAUCE

2 oz shredded mozzarella cheese
1 egg
2 tsp olive oil
3/4 cup canned crushed tomatoes
4 cups water
1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs
2 lbs ground beef
1 cup tomato sauce, no salt

Mix ground beef, egg and bread crumbs. Shape into meatballs, make an indentation in each meatball and fill with shredded mozzarella cheese, close indentation of meatball, set aside,

In another pan, over medium-high heat, add olive oil, crushed tomatoes and tomato sauce, bring to a boil. Slowly stir in meatballs and cook over medium-low heat for 20-30 minutes. Serve meatballs and sauce over favorite cooked pasta. Serves 6
