SMOKIN PARTY ALMONDS

1 tbsp butter and olive oil
1 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp curry powder
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp red pepper sauce
2 cups whole almonds
1 tsp kosher salt
Heat oven to 325. In 2-quart saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Stir in oil, chili powder, curry powder, Worcestershire sauce and pepper sauce. Simmer gently 3 minutes to blend flavors.
Add almonds and toss to coat. Spread in a single layer on baking sheet. Bake 10 to 15 minutes, stirring once halfway through. Pour hot nuts into large bowl, toss with salt to coat. Spread in single layer in pan and cool to room temperature.
