Cocoa Macadamia Nut Sandies

1 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa
1 tbsp. water
2 tsp. vanilla
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 (3.25-oz) jar (2/3 cup) macadamia nuts, finely chopped
3/4 cup powdered sugar
Heat oven to 325. Combine butter and sugar in large bowl. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until well mixed. Add cocoa, water and vanilla, continue beating until well mixed. Reduce speed to low, add flour. Beat until well mixed. Stir in macadamia nuts by hand.
Shape dough into 1-inch balls. Place 1 inch apart onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes or until set. Remove from cookie sheets. Cool completely. Roll in powdered sugar..
TIP: Want a little variety? Substitute finely chopped blanched hazelnuts or walnuts for the macadamia nuts. Still need more options? Add 1/4 tsp. almond extract or coconut flavoring along with the vanilla.
