Sriracha Chicken Pinwheels
Category: Roll Ups / Pinwheels
4 oz cream cheese (1/2 of the 8 oz package), softened
1/4 cup sour cream with chives and onions
1 cup cooked, shredded chicken (use canned chicken to make things easier)
1/4 cup shredded cheese (I used a colby & Monterey Jack blend)
2 tablespoons sriracha chili sauce
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 pkg crescent dinner rolls
1.Mix together softened cream cheese, sriracha sauce, sour cream with chives and onions, shredded chicken, shredded cheese, fresh pepper and salt.
2.Unroll the crescent dinner roll dough without separating individual triangles. Divide the dough down the middle, into two rectangles. Press perforations to seal.
3.Spread about 3/4 cup of the sriracha chicken mixture into the center of the dough within 1/4 of an inch of the long sides.
4.Starting on the long side, tightly roll the dough and pinch seams to seal.
5.Cut into 16 slices. Place the slices, with the filling side up, on a greased baking sheet.
6.Bake at 375 degrees for 15-17 minutes or until golden brown.
