MEXICAN CHIP CASSEROLE

1 lb ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 (11 oz) can Mexi-corn
1 (4 oz) can chopped green chilies
1 (10 1/2 oz) pkg corn chips
1 (10 oz) can enchilada sauce
2 cups shredded Monterey jack cheese
Brown first 3 ingredients until brown, drain. Add next 4 ingredients, mix well. IN an ungreased shallow 3-quart baking dish, layer meat mixture, chips, enchilada sauce, to with cheese. Bake, uncovered, at 350 for 8-10 minutes or until heated through. Serves 4-6
