APRICOT GINGER CHICKEN LEGS

Category: Chicken

2 green onions, chopped
1/2 cup apricot preserves
1/3 cup ketchup
1 tbsp. plus 1 tsp grated, peeled gingerroot
6 large chicken legs

In a small bowl, mix ingredients. Place chicken on grill over medium heat, cook until golden on both sides, about 10 minutes. Continue grilling for about 25-30 minutes or until fork tender to prevent charring and brush frequently with apricot mixture during last 10 minutes of grilling.
