Italian Sausage Pasta Sauce with Spaghetti

- 6 Italian sausage links, cut into 1" pieces
- 1 cup finely chopped onions
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon dried basil leaves
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (28 ounce size) crushed tomatoes, undrained
- 1 can (15 ounce size) tomato sauce
- 1 can (12 ounce size) tomato paste
- 24 ounces uncooked spaghetti pasta
In 3 1/2 to 4 quart slow cooker, combine all ingredients except spaghetti; mix well. Cover; cook on low setting for 6 to 8 hours. Skim and discard fat, if desired. About 30 minutes before serving, cook spaghetti to desired doneness as directed on package. Drain. Serve sauce over spaghetti.
