SAGE & SAUSAGE WHITE BEAN CASSEROLE

2 cups homemade bread crumbs
½ cup sage leaves
1 yellow onion, diced
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 pound sausage, sliced
½ cup apple juice
30 ounces white beans
Salt & pepper

(1) Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

(2) In a skillet over medium high heat, cook onion and garlic for about 5 minutes.

(3) Add sausage and apple juice to skillet and cook for 5 more minutes.

(4) Add beans and heat a final 5 minutes.

(5) Transfer mixture to a greased 9x13 baking dish.

(6) Top with bread crumbs and sage leaves.

(7) Bake for 25-30 minutes.
