Meatballs - Beef Baked

1 lb lean ground beef
1 cup fresh breadcrumbs - I use white sandwich bread and process to crumbs in a food processor
2 cloves garlic - minced
⅓ cup Parmesan cheese - freshly grated
1 egg - beaten
¼ cup flat-leaf parsley - finely chopped
1 tsp dried oregano
sea salt and freshly ground black pepper - to taste
1. Preheat your oven to 360 F.
2. Line two baking sheets with baking paper.
3. Prepare all of your ingredients as you will be mixing them all together at the same time.
Make your breadcrumbs, freshly grate your Parmesan cheese and chop your garlic and parsley.
4. To a large bowl, add your ground beef and all of the other ingredients. Mix until well combined, but do not overmix.
5. Using a small ice cream scoop or 15ml tablespoon, scoop out the mixture. Roll into smooth balls.
6. Place the meatballs on the lined baking trays, allowing even spacing in between.
7. Bake for approximately 15-20 minutes, or until golden and just cooked through.
(You can use a thermometer to check - the internal temperature should register 160 degrees F.)
