Grilled - Maple Glazed Pork Chops

8 boneless pork chops
4 Tbsp olive oil
2 tsp kosher salt
2 tsp coarse black pepper
1 cup Maple Glaze


1. Prepare grill fire to 350 degrees using hickory wood chips for smoke flavor (Optional)
2. Pat chops dry with paper towel and place on baking sheet. Brush both sides with oil and season with kosher salt and pepper.
3. Make maple glaze and set aside (see recipe)
4. Cook chops over indirect heat with the grill closed for 8 minutes. Flip chops and brush with maple glaze.
5. Continue to cook another 8 minutes. Brush the maple glaze on top again, flip chops and brush that side. continue till chops reach 145 degrees.
6. Remove from grill and let rest 5 minutes before serving.
