Candy - Peanut Brittle

2 cups honey
4 Tbsp butter
1/2 - 1 cup peanuts, cashew halves or pecan halves


1. Put honey and butter into a saucepan rinsed with cold water. Bring to a boil at 234 degrees (use candy thermometer), or until the mixture holds together when dropped into cold water.
2. Beat until it begins to lose its gloss.
3. Add nuts, pour into well buttered glass pan or break into bits before it hardens completely.
