Marinade - Chicken II

6 boneless skinless chicken breast
1/2 cup olive oil
3 Tbsp brown sugar
3 Tbsp soy sauce
1 1/2 tsp lemon zest
1 Tbsp parsley leaves, chopped
1 Tbsp thyme leaves, chopped
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp garlic powder


1. In a med size bowl, whisk together the olive oil, brown sugar, soy sauce, lemon zest, parsley, thyme, salt, pepper and garlic powder.
2. Place chicken in mix and marinade for at least 1 hour up to 24 hours.
3. Sear both sides on high heat in cast iron skillet for 2 1/2 minutes each side.
4. Place skillet in 400 degree oven for about 20 minutes or until thermometer reads 165.
5. Let chicken rest for 5 minutes.
