Sauce - A&W Chili Dog

3 pounds ground beef
2 teaspoons salt
1 onion, chopped very fine
4 cups ketchup
1 bottle (2 ounce size) Mexene chili powder, or to taste
1 cup water


1. Place all ingredients in large saucepan. Mix well.
2. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 1 hour.
*****Make sure to stir often to keep sauce from burning or scorching.
