Pasta - Parmesan Garlic Noodles

3 tsp olive oil
2-3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
3 Tbsp butter
3 cups chicken stock
1/2 box angel hair pasta
1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
3/4 cup half and half or whole milk
1/2 tsp sea salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1-2 Tbsp fresh parsley, fine chopped


1. In a large saucepan, heat the oil and butter over medium heat. Add the garlic and stir for 1 minute.
2. Season with salt and pepper. Add the chicken stock and bring to a boil over high heat.
3. Add the pasta and cook according to directions on box.
4. Take the saucepan off the heatand add the parmesan cheese and stir until completely melted.
5. Add the half and half or milk and parsley. Add more cream/milk if necessary.
6. Let stand for 5 minutes to continue thickening.
