Soup - Creamy Broccoli

¼ cup chopped onions
1 Tbsp butter or margarine
1 Tbsp flour
2 cups milk
4 oz Philadelphia Cream Cheese, cubed
½ lb (8 oz) Velveeta, cut into ½” cubes
1 package (10 oz) frozen, chopped broccoli, cooked, drained
¼ tsp ground nutmeg
1/8 tsp pepper


1. In a medium saucepan, over medium-high heat; cook and stir onions in butter for 3-5 minutes or until onions are crisp-tender. Whisk in flour until well blended.
2. Add milk; cook and stir for 2 minutes over medium heat. Add cream cheese; cook and stir 2-3 minutes, or until melted.
3. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cook 5 minutes or until heated through, stirring occasionally.
