package (8 oz) pasta shells, uncooked
4 slices bacon
1lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into 1" pieces
cup onion, chopped
2 tbsp flour
5 cups milk
4 tsp chicken bouillon
1 tsp dried basil
tsp pepper
1 (11 oz) can whole kernel corn, drained


1. Cook pasta according to package.
2. In a large saucepan, over medium heat, cook bacon until crisp; remove and crumble. Drain, reserving 3 Tbsp of drippings. Set Aside.
3. In the same saucepan, add chicken and onion; cook and stir until chicken is tender.
4. Add bacon grease back to pot and stir in flour until smooth. Gradually stir in milk then bouillon, basil and pepper.
5. Cook and stir until slightly thickened and bubbly.
6. Stir in pasta, corn and bacon; heat through. Serve immediately.
