Pork Crock-pot - Chinese Pork Chops

Category: Crockpot

6 pork chops, about 1-inch thick (or use pork steaks)
1/4 cup brown sugar (packed)
1 tsp ground ginger
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup ketchup
1 clove garlic, mashed
salt and pepper, to taste


1. Trim excess fat from pork chops and place in crockpot.
2. Combine brown sugar, ginger, soy sauce, ketchup, garlic, salt and pepper; pour mixture over pork chops. Cook, covered, on LOW for 4 to 6 hours, or until tender.
3. Season with salt and pepper, if desired. Serve with steamed white rice and/or Chinese noodles.
