Ready in: 1-2 hrs

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream, well chilled
  • 1 1/2 cup half and half, well chilled
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

In a large bowl, stir together the sugars, cinnamon, nutmeg, whipping cream, half and half, and vanilla until well mixed.

Pour into the ice cream machine and process as directed by your machine's manufacturer.

Serve immediately or store the processed ice cream in the freezer until ready to serve.
