German Chocolate Upside down cake

preheat oven to 350*

butter a 9x13 inch cake pan( i use glass)

1 duncan hines german chocolate cake mix
1 1/2 cups flaked coconut
1 1/2 cups finely chopped pecans
1- 8 oz philly cream cheese
2 sticks unsalted butter
in a large mixing bowl, make cake according to box. set aside.
spray cake pan with a non stick spray then sprinkle coconut & pecans on the bottom of cake pan.
in a medium saucepan - combine the butter-cream cheese on low heat stirring until smooth and creamy remove from heat and add powder sugar with a wire whisk beat until sugar dissolves pour cake mix on top of coconut and pecans, then pour cream cheese mixture over top of cake ** this will look like alot- but its not use all of it** put cake into oven and bake appx 40 minutes or until cake springs back.
this is a wonderful rich cake all the cream cheese mix sinks to the bottom and makes a creamy frosting mixed with the coconut & pecans. ( you may also use walnuts if you prefer)
