Lemon Poppy Seed Cake

1 package (18.25 ounces) light yellow cake mix
1 package (3.4 ounces) instant lemon pudding and pie filling
1/4 cup poppy seed
1 cup orange juice or water
1/2 cup applesauce
4 eggs, OR 1 cup egg substitute
1 cup powdered sugar
2 to 3 tablespoons lemon juice

Directions In large mixer bowl, combine cake mix, pudding mix, and poppy seed. Add orange juice, applesauce, and eggs. Blend on low speed to moisten all ingredients; beat on medium speed for 2 minutes until well mixed. Pour batter into well-greased 12-cup Bundt pan. Bake in 350°F. oven for 40 to 45 minutes, or until cake tests done with wooden pick.
Cool in pan for 10 minutes. Remove from pan and cool on wire rack.
In a small bowl, stir together powdered sugar and lemon juice until smooth and of a consistency to drizzle. Drizzle icing over top or dust with powdered sugar.
