Italian Hamburger Soup

1 pound lean ground beef (or turkey)
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup chopped celery
1 cup chopped carrots
2 cloves garlic minced
1 can 14 1/2 oz diced tomatoes
2 cans red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
2 cups beef broth
1 tablespoon dried parsley
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried basil
2 cups chopped cabbage
1 15 1/4 oz can whole kernel corn
1 15 oz can of green beans
1 cup macaroni

Brown meat. Drain any fat.
Stir in onion, garlic, celery carrots, tomatoes and beef broth, parsely, oregano, basil and
Simmer for 20 minutes.
add cabbage, corn, green beans.
Bring to a boil and then simmer until vegetable are tender.
Add the pasta and cook until pasta is done. Add more broth, if needed.
