Calico Beans

Ingredients
1 lb lean ground beef
1 c finely diced onion
1/2 lb bacon, cut in bite sized pieces
1 can (15 ounces) pork and beans
1 can (15 ounces) butter beans, drained
1 can (15 ounces) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
3/4 c brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 c catsup
1 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tsp dry mustard
1/2 tsp salt

Fry bacon and cook until bacon is done Set aside Save a couple spoons of bacon grease and brown beef and onion.

Add remaining ingredients, mix well, and cook on low heat, at a simmer for about 30 minutes. Stir frequently. Add crisp bacon Serve hot.
