Almond Toast

1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup whipping cream, divided
1/2 cup butter, softened
4 ounces (1/2 of an 8 oz can) almond paste

MBeat with mixed almond pasta at low speed until crumbly. Beat in sugar.
Beat in 1/4 cup of the cream until smooth.
Beat in butter
Beat in remaining 1/4 cup cream until smooth.

Makes about 1 3/4 cups

Slather this on slices of you favorite bread. Sprinkle with sliced almonds.
Bake at 375 until golden...about 8 - 10 minutes
