Funnel Cakes

1 1/4 cups flour, sifted before measuring
2 tablespoon granulated sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
2/3 cup milk
1 egg, beaten
oil

Sift together dry ingredients.
Make a well in middle and add the egg and milk in the well.
Mix until smooth

Heat oil to 350 degrees.
Pour a small amount into a funnel keeping your finger over the end of funnel.
Let the batter stream into the hot oil in circles.
When one side is brown, turn cake over and let other side get brown.
Remove and dust with powdered sugar.

(My kids liked having these when they were young and now the grands do. We just made some the other day) ok once in a while, I guess. lol)
