Nutter Butter Parfait

ingredients

1 package chocolate fudge pudding and pie mix
2 cups milk
12 peanut shaped sandwich cookies, cut each into 3 pieces
2 medium bananas. each cut into 12 slices
1 cup creamy whipped topping, thawed
1/2 chocolate sundae syrup

Prepare pudding with milk as label directs. Cover and let cool. (covering the pudding keeps it from forming a film across top of pudding)

In each of 4 sundae bowls, layer ingredients in the following order:
1/4 cup of pudding
4 slices of banana
2 cookies
repeat layering
Top with 1/4 cup whipped topping (such as cool whip)
Drizzle with chocolate syrup

Can make it with vanilla pudding, too. Homemade and real whipped cream. I am not into cool whip but I do use it once in a while.
The last time I made this I used the mini cookies and made in in a large bowl.

Maybe..a cherry on top?
