El Torito guacamole recipe

Directions

1) Prepare pico de gallo by mixing all ingredients together in a bowl. Refrigerate at least 1/2 hour before using.

2) Cut both avocados in half and remove the pit in the center.

3) Using a spoon, carefully scoop out the meat of the avocado, leaving only the skin behind. Put the avocado into a medium sized bowl.

4) Squeeze the lime half into the avocado.

5) Add salt and pepper. Taste chili pepper to test hotness before adding to mixture. Add half of the diced chili pepper then taste the mixture again. Add remaining pepper as desired.

6) Mash the mixture with a fork. Leave mixture chunky if desired, or mash until creamy. Be sure to crush the chili peppers.

7) Add garlic powder and 1/2 cup prepared pico de gallo. Fold carefully into mashed avocado mixture until combined.
