Chocolate Fudge
Ingredients:
3 ½ cups of sugar
1 cup of whipping cream
2/3 of cocoa powder
2 tablespoon of corn syrup
½ cup of butter
1 teaspoon teaspoon of vanilla
Directions:
Grease a 9*9 baking pan.
Put sugar, whipping cream, corn syrup, cocoa powder and vanilla in 3 Quart sauce pan and mix until liquid and cook on medium heat, stirring occasionally.
When fudge comes to a rapid boil, wait about 6 or 7 minutes, still stirring occasionally and start checking for the soft ball state (when you drop the fudge into water and it becomes a soft ball). A secret I use water I put in the freeze just when I start cooking the fudge. Then add your margarine or butter, whichever you prefer, and stir until it becomes thick, and loses its glossiness, then add it to your greased 9*9 pan.
Makes about 48 squares, this is I found a rating about 3 out of 5 for how easy or hard it is to make.
