- 4 medium apples, peeled and sliced
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 cups granola cereal
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
Place the apples in the crock pot. Sprinkle the apples with the cinnamon then drizzle with the honey. Evenly sprinkle the cereal over the top of the apples. Drizzle with the melted butter. Cover the crock pot and cook on low for 6 hours or until the apples are tender. Serve hot, drizzled with a little cream before serving (if desired). Cook's Notes: This also is delicious served over vanilla ice cream as a dessert.
