Margaritas on the Rocks - by the Pitcher

3 cups tequila, chilled
3/4 cup orange flavored liqueur, chilled
2-1/2 cups fresh squeezed lemon juice, chilled (will use about 12 - 15 lemons)
lemon wedges
salt
Clear Ice (I use store-bought ice from the bag, but you can make clear ice by using distilled water to fill the trays)

Mix together the tequila, orange liqueur and lemon juice in a pitcher. To serve, rub the rim of each glass with a cut lemon wedge and dip the rim into salt in a plate to coat it thoroughly. Reserve the lemon for garnish.

Fill glasses with ice cubes, and pour margarita over the ice. Garnish with lemon wedges. Makes just over 6 cups.
