Sparkling White Grape Punch

Makes 1 gallon

This is my mother's recipe. It works great for formal as well as casual occasions. Its light flavor goes nicely with just about anything and does not overpower the food.

2 liter bottles Lemon-Lime soda
1 container white grape juice concentrate
Ice
Punch Bowl or pitcher

All ingredients should be chilled. Defrost the grape juice in the refrigerator. When fully defrosted, pour into a one-gallon pitcher. Then fill to the brim with the lemon-lime soda.

To serve from the pitcher...
Fill glasses with ice, crushed or bought ice looks nicer. Pour punch over ice and top with a maraschino cherry.

To serve from punch bowl...
Make an ice ring of grape juice to place in the punch bowl. Fill with punch and serve in punch cups with a maraschino cherry.
