Orange Cream French Toast

6 eggs
1/2 c. orange juice
1/3 c. half & half
3 Tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp grated orange peel
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch salt
8-10 slices French bread (3/4" thick)
1/4 c. butter
Orange Butter:
1 c. softened butter
1/3 c. orange marmalade
3 Tbsp chopped mandarin oranges

In a mixing bowl, beat eggs, orange juice, cream sugar, orange peel, vanilla and salt. Dip the bread in egg mixture coating each side. Place in greased 13x9" baking dish. Pour remaining egg mixture over the bread. Cover and refrigerate overnigh. In a large skillet, melt butter; add bread. Meanwhile, combine orange butter ingredients in a small mixing bowl; beat until blended. Serve with French toast. Makes 4-5 servings.
