Peanut Butter Cookies

3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp soda
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. white sugar
1/8 tsp salt
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. peanut butter
2 Tbsp beaten egg

Preheat oven to 375. Lightly grease baking sheet. Sift flour, soda, & salt. Cream butter, slowly adding sugars and continue creaming until fluffy. Add peanut butter and mix well. Add dry ingredients gradually to egg mixture and mix thoroughly. Shape into balls the size of a walnut and place 2" apart on baking sheet. Flatten each cookie with a fork. Bake for 15 minutes.
