Coffee Cake

2 1/4 c. flour
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. oil
1 c. brown sugar
1 3/4 tsp cinnamon
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1 egg
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp soda
1 tsp baking powder

Sir flour, sugars, oil & 1 tsp cinnamon until smooth. Transfer 1/4 c. mix to small bowl and stir in walnuts and remaining 3/4 tsp cinnamon. In another bowl, beat egg lightly. Add the buttermilk, soda, and baking powder. Add to flour mixture and stir until smooth. Spoon batter into greased 12x8" baking dish. Spread evenly. Sprinkle with nut mixture. Press gently into batter. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Let cool 3-5 minutes before cutting.
