Chocolate Pecan Pie

From Dorthy Kennedy:
3/4 c. sugar
1 c. dark corn syrup
1/2 tsp salt
2 Tbsp flour
3 eggs
2 Tbsp melted butter
3-4 Tbsp cocoa
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
1 3/4 c. pecan halves
Unbaked 9" pie shell

Combine and beat together sugar, corn syrup, salt, flour and eggs. Add remaining ingredients except shell. Pour into pie shell. If desired, turn the top layer of nuts rounded side up. Bake at 300 60 minutes or until just set.
