Hawaiian Candy

1 c. brown sugar
2 c. white sugar
1 tsp ginger
1 c. crushed pineapple
1/2 c. cream
2 Tbsp butter
1 c. pecans
2 tsp vanilla

Cook sugar, ginger, pineapple, and cream over low heat until sugar dissolves, stirring during last stage and cooking until it will form a soft ball in cold water. Remove from heat and stir in butter, nuts and vanilla. Beat until creamy and drop on oiled paper.
