Oatmeal Cookies-2

1 c. flour
1/2 tsp soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1 egg
2 Tbsp milk
2 c. rolled oats
1 c. raisins

Preheat oven to 375. Grease baking sheet. Sift flour with soda, salt and cinnamon in mixing bowl. Add the brown sugar, sugar, shortening, egg and milk. Beat vigorously by hand for 50 strokes (until smooth). Stir in the rolled oats and raisins. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls about 2" apart on the greased baking sheet. Bake 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
